DOGGY DAYZ DAY CARE SERVICE
01375360036 for bookings or enquiries
Doggy Dayz is a K9 creche where the dogs can play while the owners are away. (licensed and fully insured).
Hi my name is Keedra. I have started this business as, being a dog owner myself, I felt there wasn't a service available that really gave the dog a holiday whilst the owners enjoyed theirs. I decided I could extend this to daycare as well. Whilst owners are at work, the dogs will have company all day and enjoy walks. The premises has a home from home atmosphere where we have various visitors throughout the day, work experience girls, friends and family, and customers from Wonderland Pets. This makes us very transparent showing that we have nothing to hide and the dogs are treated as we say they will be.
Based in Stanford-Le-Hope, Thurrock SS170PQ with easy access to the A13/ M25 dogs can be dropped off as early as 8.30am and collected before 5pm. Longer hours of care can be arranged.Collection and drop off can be provided for a small charge. Situated within the premises of the pet shop 'Wonderland Pets', dogs will have their own rooms and outside exercise yard to enjoy. All dogs get walks to 'break up their day'.
Dogs are social animals and tolerate being left home alone but do not enjoy it.
Doggy Dayz provides a warm safe enviroment for the dogs to be, where they can roam free, play and interact with other dogs, or just watch the activity going on around them. All dogs will receive education in an enjoyable way.
Dogs are not kennelled although all dogs will be interviewed prior to being accepted. Due to the nature of the business, unfortunately we cannot accept un-neutered males. Un-neutered males can use the dog walking service, but not the holiday boarding or creche. Dogs are hard wired to breed. This comes out when they are around dogs all the time, and causes stress to the neutered animal. It is far kinder to your pet to have them neutered, and relieve them of the worry of finding a 'mate'. Un-neutered females cannot attend the creche or holiday board a week before coming in season, during their season, or a fortnight after. They to are desperate to 'mate' during this period and cause undue stress to the neutered dogs.
I have been around dogs all my life and have owned and trained dogs for 23 years, I also have experience of rehabilitating problem dogs. I have studied all aspects of dog behaviour including psychology, social interactions as a pack animal, and behaviours that can be related to the wrong diet. I have kennel club membership status, and am bound by the kennel club code of practice. All certificates are on display at the creche. I am currently working towards highest accreditation.
Doggy Dayz also offers a puppy sitting service. Rather than leave your puppy at home while you work, Doggy Dayz can provide a service where your puppy can have fun, good manners training, seperation training, house training and exposure to new situations (road walking, busy places, shops, schools and train stations etc) to ensure your puppy develops into a well rounded adult. This is only for a short time in your puppies early weeks, and is very important. Once passed 17 weeks of age, the cost of their day care reduces. Please enquire for more information.
